I am an Associate Professor of Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies at the University of Tokyo. Please click here about me.
As an ethnographer, I have studied transnational media and young Japanese migration from Tokyo to New York and London, as well as the cultural production of artists and fashion designers in London, New York, and Paris. Additionally, I am involved in research projects focused on young people and their use of social media.
